West Hampstead Victorian Terrace: Complete Interior & Exterior

A beautifully proportioned Victorian terrace on Sumatra Road, West Hampstead needed both interior and exterior redecoration. The exterior render was cracking and the front door had lost its gloss. Inside, the hallway, staircase, 3 bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen all required updating. The original picture rails and ceiling roses needed careful restoration.

Key Challenges

We tackled the exterior first while weather conditions were favourable. The render was stabilised, primed, and painted with Dulux Weathershield in Jasmine White. The front door was stripped back to timber and finished in high-gloss Railings by Farrow & Ball. Inside, we restored all period features, filling cracks in ceiling roses and repairing damaged cornicing. Walls were finished in Little Greene Intelligent Emulsion, with bespoke colour choices for each room.
